Beer and Cider by the Sea takes place each year on Eastbourne's Western Lawns. Located on the western side of the central seafront, opposite the Best Western Lansdowne Hotel, just next to the Wish Tower.

The event takes place on the second May Bank Holiday. The 2020 event has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

Cash is not used to purchase drinks at this event. You will need to buy drinks tokens (with cash or card) from the sales desk upon arrival. 

Sheets of tokens are £10 and each sheet has 100 tokens. Most half pints are around 16 tokens, and full pints are around 36 tokens.
