We offer a wide range of pottery experiences designed to suit both first-time visitors and those looking to develop their skills further. Our Taster Hand-Building Classes are ideal for beginners and visitors, providing a relaxed one-off session where participants learn fundamental hand-building techniques and create their own functional piece, such as a mug or bowl.

For visitors travelling to Eastbourne, we make the experience completely stress-free. Once each piece has been finished, fired and glazed, we offer a first-class postal service, sending completed work safely to any address within the UK, allowing visitors to enjoy the experience without the need to transport fragile items.

For those seeking a more social and creative experience, our Clay & Wine Classes combine pottery with a laid-back atmosphere, allowing participants to enjoy a glass of wine while crafting their own ceramic piece. These sessions are particularly popular with couples, groups and those celebrating special occasions.

Throughout the year, we also run a variety of seasonal and themed workshops, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween and Christmas workshops, as well as other special events. These workshops offer unique, festive experiences and make thoughtful and creative gift ideas.

In addition, TIERRA provides structured pottery courses for those who wish to learn more in depth over several weeks, as well as membership options for local residents.
